Unable to Sign In to Box (Free) with My Company Email Address – Two-Factor Authentication Assistance

I’m having trouble signing in to Box (free version) using my company email address.
Although our company does not use Box, we receive and share documents with a customer via Box, so I need to be able to log in.

However, I’m not sure about the two-factor authentication (2FA) settings for my account, and I believe this is preventing me from signing in. Could you please advise how I can complete the login process, especially regarding 2FA?

Please note that I prefer not to include my company email address here. If necessary, I can share it privately in direct communication with support.

Hi @sec demo

Welcome to Box Community, and happy to help with your login issue.

Also, thank you for the insight @Dan682Lee

you’ll need Box Support to reset it securely. Contact them directly with your email in private so they can verify your identity and restore your login.

It’s true that you must reach out to the Box Product Support team using your affected email address.

I understand that right now you’re unable to login so please use this link and submit your request to disable your MFA.

We look forward to hear from you!

If you can’t sign in to Box with your company email because of two‑factor authentication, first try the “Forgot Password” or “Having trouble signing in?” options to reset access. If 2FA is blocking you and you no longer have the registered method, you’ll need Box Support to reset it securely. Contact them directly with your email in private so they can verify your identity and restore your login.
