unable to search within subfolders in Box? (Windows 10)

hi all, 

We are currently unable to search within Box subfolders on Windows 10--any advice? If I'm already in the subfolder I want, then it will search its contents, but this is unhelpful if looking for a file whose exact location I don't know.

    Welcome to the Box Community!

    At present, it is expected that Windows search tools (Cortana or File Explorer) do not return search results from Box Drive as its currently not supported. You can use Box Drive's search tool instead.

    Is there an intent and timeline for correcting the limitation so that Windows Explorer search returns results that include subfolder?
