So I have this frustrating issue on my Mac which is running MacOS Big Sur 11.2.3 and the latest version of Box Drive. It seems to only be affecting Photoshop CC. I can save a file once to Box drive from Photoshop and it's fine but I can't make any edit to that file and save it twice. It will come up with this error below. The only way to work around this I found is to save to the desktop instead and then copy it onto Box Drive afterwards which isn’t ideal. Each time this error message happens as well Photoshop seems to save the file into the requested location but the file name is a series of long numbers instead of the correct file name. I have found that restarting seems to fix the issue for a while but after a few hours it always comes back.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!BOX__ILaMBjMbqA-nNdMSw73EBg.png

This same thing has been happening to me and my coworkers! It's been infuriating when saving large files. Apparently, some of my coworkers have been having this issue who are not upgraded to Big Sur on Mac OS. I've been experiencing this for the same length of time that the OP has as well.

Hey Laura! Yeah it’s an absolute nightmare especially when you have tight deadlines as it’s the last thing you need! One solution I found is to simply restart your machine. The problem will return again after a few days but at least you get some break from it! I used to leave my Mac on all the time but now since I restart each day the problem seems to be kept under control! Hope this helps!

Thanks, Peter! I'll have to start doing that everyday since I'm guilty of keeping it on for a few days at a time. Good luck on your end!
