"Email already used in a Box account but not associate with an enterprise"


I have several seats that I am unable to add to our account and need help with getting this accomplished. Reviewed several post that have this issue but still unable to get it worked out.

You're likely to get an error while adding a personal free user. This serves as a reminder that you're adding an existing Box user. 


Here's what you can do. 


  • Continue to add the user, and when this error appears, "1 user failed to be added", ignore the error message and press the Save button again. Saving a second time will begin the invitation process.
