unable to access files

hello im trying to access a folder and everytime i click on the lilnk it says the file is no longer avaiable or was deleted. i contacted the person sending the link and each time the link they send says the same thing. i wonder if there is anything im not doing on box? its the first time im using box

This could be happening due to any of these reasons: 

  1. The person who created the link did not set the correct access level on the Shared link.
  2. The person who created the link has since removed the link.

For most users, situation 1 is the most common so you may need to follow-up with the person who sent you this link and confirm if they've set the correct access type for you.
