Hi My name is Tiger.

I registered box for my customer, and I set the two-step verification.

They strongly recommended to set up through Microsoft Authenticator,

but I didn't do that by accident.

So i would like to delete the two-step verification, and I want to set uo again in a right way.( I don' t have the back-up code)

Hi Tiger,

No worries, we can sort this out! To reset the two-step verification (2FA) on Box without a backup code, you’ll need to follow these steps:

Contact Box Support:
Since you don’t have the backup code, the best approach is to contact Box Support directly. They can help you disable the current 2FA setup and guide you through setting it up again with Microsoft Authenticator.
You can reach Box Support through their support page.
Prepare Your Account Information:
When contacting support, make sure you have all necessary account information ready, such as your email address, account details, and any relevant information about the issue.
Set Up 2FA Again:
Once Box Support has disabled the current 2FA, you can set it up again using Microsoft Authenticator. Here’s how:
Log in to your Box account.
Go to Account Settings > Security.
Enable two-step verification and choose Microsoft Authenticator as your method.
Follow the prompts to scan the QR code with the Microsoft Authenticator app and complete the setup.
