Looks like there’s no particular download error and instead, your download just won’t start. 

In this case, we’ve listed down the troubleshooting steps you could take to fix the issue.  

• Updating your browser to the latest version
• Clearing your browser's cache
• Using Box with an alternate browser, computer, or network. If possible, Test using both Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections. Wi-Fi is typically slower than an Ethernet connection. Increased distance from your router can further decrease your speeds. If there are walls or other obstructions between you and your router, this could cause your internet speed to decrease. In that case, try moving closer to your WiFi router.
• Temporarily disabling any internet security/firewall programs to test whether they conflict with Box (Note: you may need clearance or assistance from your organization’s IT department/helpdesk to do this)
• Temporarily disabling any plugins/extensions in your browser
• Removing unwanted extensions, plug-ins, ads, pop-ups & malware:
  • Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari

Since Ican’t find a formal place for this question, I thought I might send it your way since you are customer service.

I have been a box customer for a number of years. This is the first time I am trying to download content out of box, onto my new computer. I have tried maybe seventeen times over the past 10 days, but am never able to complete a single folder download from box, whether it is a small size or a large size.

I went through the site and found information on ftp access to box, but spent an entire afternoon before arriving at the information that box ftp access is only available for enterprise users. (Feedback: documentation could be improved here).

My problem remains, though, that i cannot access or download items in my box account. At first i thought it was a time issue, slow download, but after 10 days leaving my computer on overnight etc i think there’s some other issue. 

Who can help me with this?

Hi, well I think the problem is that I uploaded/backed up a folder with many thousands of ebook files. Now that I want them for download, there’s a bogus 150g limit for downloads? so by definition, i have to go download each and everyone of these files manually? that can’t be real.
