I'm wondering if there is a way to transfer ownership of a shared folder from one account to my account? The person who is the owner no longer has access to their email address.
Additionally, it is possible to set multiple people as an owner to a shared folder?

Only the folder owner can transfer the folder ownership and there's no alternate workaround on this one.
Meanwhile, to take ownership of a folder, it would only take a single user.

So just to confirm, the recommendation would be to re-create the folder in my box account, re-upload the files and then share with all the same users, as the original owner does not have access to their email so cannot transfer ownership?
