The files I create wont' sync up to Box and I also cant upload to Box via browser

Despite having restarted my computer, quitting all other apps running, logging in and out of Box and trying to upload files to Box via browser, I keep getting error messages such as "Check your network connection and try again.",  "Refresh Failed. Failed to refresh "XXXXXX" Try again later" or "Something went wrong with the upload, please try again".  I'm at my wits end, not sure what else to do.
