The account does not have the Sign app.

Dear Team,

 

My colleague asked me why she doesn't have the Sign app in her Box web application, while my account does. Both of our account types are Enterprise Plus Governance.

Do you know what's going on? How can I enable Sign for her account?

Welcome to Box Community, and we’ll assist regarding your Box Sign access. 

 

The affected user should reach out to her Box Administrator to confirm if Box Sign is enabled in their enterprise account.

 

Just a quick question, is the user without Box Sign access belongs in the same enterprise ID as yours? If yes, Box Sign maybe enabled for select users only. Please contact your Box Admin to reconfigure the settings, or enable Box Sign for the affected user. 

 

To change which of your users have Box Sign enabled or disabled:

  1. In the left sidebar of the Admin Console, click Enterprise Settings.
  2. In the top bar, click Box Sign.
  3. Click Edit Configuration from the Configure Sign section.
  4. Select the enablement option.
    • If you enable or disable Sign for select users or groups, type the user names, email addresses or names of groups you want to allow or deny.
  5. Click Save.

IMPORTANT: 

If a user or group of users have Box Sign disabled, they cannot initiate signature requests.

However, such users can still use Box Sign to sign a document sent by someone else.

Additionally, if a user accesses files or folders associated with Box Sign target folders, they can see the status of sent signature requests, including the recipients, along with recipient actions on such requests.

Thank you for your reply. My colleague and I in the same company ID. So, I need to ask our company administrator to activate the Sign for my colleague, right?
