I see that this issue has been reported before. I had a mac mini running Big Sur and it worked fine. I just upgraded to a new mac mini running Big Sur also and now I am stuck with the"system extension failed to load" error message and even when I restart it does not work.
Is there a fix for this yet?

Is your Mac Mini running Apple's M1 chipset?
If yes, unfortunately, the current version of Box Drive is not supported on Apple Silicon Macs (devices with the new M1 chip from Apple). This issue will be fixed in a future release to support both Intel-based, and M1-based Mac machines.
You may follow our Product Announcement page for future updates. In the meantime, you can access your Box content on Apple Silicon devices via the Box web application by logging into app.box.com/login.
