I work in IT for a University and had an issue recently where spell check is not working in Microsoft Word when opened online through Box.

When in a Box document through Microsoft Word the two words are not underlined to identify they are misspelled.

I noticed the versions are different between the Office 365 and Box Online Word. 


Microsoft 365 Online Word: 16.0.17512.41003


Box Word: 16.0.17512.41003


I have updated Box Tools, Ensured the latest .NET framework was installed, cleared cookies and cache, and tried a different browser and computer.


Can someone please give me an idea to resole this issue?

I have the same exact issue. How do I get this resolved?


Our organization submitted a proper ticket with Box and it seems to be a known issue and Box is working with Microsoft on a fix. Seems like the issue is something on Microsoft's end.
