I have a free account and I deleted all my files, but the available capacity still shows more than 40% usage.

    Thanks for joining our forum. Great news! We run the script to correct your file and folder counts. To verify this, log in to box.com> Account Settings> Used Storage.

    I have the same issue, I can't get to support but I need help cleaning my space for the 2nd time, I wish they would fix this.
