I have to resort the files and folders every time I leave and come back - any way to make the sort order by file name permanently?

The sort configuration is based on what is set on the All Files page. If you have it sorted by date on the All Files page, then all contents within folders will follow that format. In a single session you can sort by name, but as soon as that folder is closed, it will go back to date.

Hi, it's extremely inconvenient to have to change the sort mechanism every time you log in. There needs to be a way for the box to allow users to set default sort preferences.
