Welcome to the Box Community, I'm happy to help!
You can re-sort items by clicking on the column headings in browser. Say you to sort by name, you'd have to click the Name heading (once for ascending, twice to switch to descending).
Just a tip, if you navigate to "All Files" or where you start when you initially login, and set the sort order there, it will "sticks" when you navigate to other pages.

This worked for me!
A few weeks ago, the dates were sorted in descending order, but now they're sorted in ascending order. I didn’t know why but now resolved.^^
