Sign In using Google and creating a password to access a secure document

When I signed up for Box, I used sign in using Google.  A document that is being shared with me requires a secure password.  I found that it looks like I do not have a password on the account.  When I click "create a password," I always get an error message.  I am unable to access the document until I have a secure password, and nothing I do (even using my Google password) allows me to change or create a password.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
