SHIFT and CTRL choosing not working

Now i can't choose folders and files which i would like to download. Before i did it with CTRL and SHIFT but now it is not working. Please help.

    I had the same problem and have been asking to fix this to our IT support
    I am not sure of who could fix this; however, it is fixable.
