sharing links to files

If you need to share a link of a folder to someone outside of your organization, you want to make sure that you set the link access to "People with the link". 

You have these access permissions to choose from to set who can access your shared link: People with the link, People in your company and Invited people only.  In your use case, you want to make sure to set it to "People with the link" as this allows anyone with the link to access the item and no Box account is required.

Thank you for your comments, unfortunately we don't have this options to share with People with the link.  Does it mean we have to change something in permission settings? 

We have the same problem as above what was the solution?

I have the same problem.  I can share a view-only link for Word documents (*.docx) with people without box logins, but I cannot share *.pdf documents.  How can I fix this?
