I am unable to find an effective way to share files and documents through an invitation with my students. I have tried to share the folder link by sending an email to the students in my groups but to my dismay I have noticed:

1) The students do not appear as viewers but also as collaborators, which obvioiusly I do not want.

2) The link takes them to "all" my folders in Box, not only the one I would like to share.

I have been unable to find clear instructions in the platfrom.

Thank you, Pablo Arroyo

Hi Pablo,

Welcome to Box community!

I recommend creating a "People with the link" sharing option for the file or folder you would like your students to access.

"People with the link:  Anyone with the link can access the item and no Box account is required. For extra security, you can also set a password or expiration for the link, as well as restrict download and/or preview access for link viewers."

Thank you, Ann. This has been extremely helpful. I think I have managed to get around the issue.
