We share documents with both Managed and External users. I can see there are settings to set expiration date when sharing the documents but it seems like you can have only one expiration date for a document and this will be applicable to all the managed and external users having access to this document. Is there a functionality where different expiration dates can be set for each of the each external user for the same document and managed users should never have an expiration date.

This is expected behavior and at present, there's no way to set different expiration dates for each users you Shared a link to for the same document.
If this is something you would like to be able to do, I would highly recommend submitting this feature request at pulse.box.com! Our product managers review these requests and take them into consideration for future product development.
