Hello,

I changed my Mac and when I installed the new "Box Drive" apparently I can see all the shared folders where I'm a collaborator synced on my mac. This is totally annoying because I'm part of more than 100 shared folders and now, I have all of them on my Finder so makes me very difficult to work with that on my laptop.

Hi Narciso,

Welcome to the Box Community!

Box Drive currently does not offer the feature you asked to selectively choose specific content to sync to your computer. Box Drive will always sync your entire Box folder structure in your computer.

For any product feature requests or suggestions, you may post your idea on pulse.box.com for more visibility. Our product team reviews all submissions and will consider whether to include feedback in their product roadmap.

Thanks for your post and participation in the Community!

What's the point then of having the "sync" "unsync" button? For me it's the same that all folders and docs get synced independent of whether I've activated "sync" (under more actions...) or not.

Regards,

David

Hi David,

Welcome to the Box Community!

The "Sync/ Unsync" options that you see in the Box Webapp is actually a feature of Box Sync application and not of Box Drive.

With Box Sync, would have to mark the folders that you wish to sync on your computer and the application will download that folder to your device for sync allowing you local access to the content.

To learn more about this feature, please take a look at these articles:
