Shared Excel file can't open on Locked mode

Upon attempting to access the shared file after locking it, I encountered an error message, despite being the file owner.

Welcome to Box Community, and we’re glad to assist! 

Did you locked the file in the Box website? If so, what is the error message? Kindly attach a screenshot in this thread. 

 

In the meantime, please follow these troubleshooting steps: 

  • Updating your browser to the latest version
  • Clearing your browser's cache
  • Using Box with an alternate browser, computer, or network. 
  • Restart your machine
