Could you help me figure out the best most secure way to send Box files internally? We have been just Copying the URLS for share links internally, but found that this isn't really secure if your files has previously been activated as a sharedlink. Box automattically changed the URL path to include the Shared link portion on the URL.
Here are links as an example:
https://dallolawgroup.app.box.com/file/1450014253723 - Copied link SAFE (Internal Use)
https://dallolawgroup.box.com/s/etzdiasf3bm4ai370ymf92vjdjbu8i3v - Shared Link (External)
https://dallolawgroup.app.box.com/file/1450014253723?s=etzdiasf3bm4ai370ymf92vjdjbu8i3v - Changed Copied Link that has a Shared link Active
I have informed everyone that once the Box files have been shared with a shared link, it automatically changes the internal URL link and adds the shared link portion and if they have a File they want to share within the firm to please make sure to copy the URL and remove all parts of the link from the ?s= and so on (?s=etzdiasf3bm4ai370ymf92vjdjbu8i3v) (edited)
