Files always appear in order by Name (default). Now, fairly recently, the default uses the file size to order the files (VERY ANNOYING). How can I set it back to order files according to name (both the folder list and the contents nested inside of folders)? I use a Mac, not Windows.

Thanks. I am running Box on a MacPro with iOS 13.4 operating system. I currently log into Box.com on my computer; rarely use the app. I do not know what version of Box (assume it is the most current since I'm logging into your website......
Barry Gould saved the day for me with this comment in another forum: if you navigate to "All Files" or where you start when you initially login, and set the sort order there, it stays that way when you navigate to other pages.
This is happening to me as of two weeks ago (March 2026). I use windows. I have tried multiple times to set the default sort by name at the top of the file tree. It will work during that search but as soon as I try a new search or try to move a file it goes back to sorting files by date, not name. I’m constantly searching and moving it it is annoying as I have to keep telling it to sort by Name. Any suggestions?
