I've been sent a shared secured file link with a password. I currently have the free box account that included secured file sharing, however I am unable to access the documents. I see the files, but I am unable to click on them. I am able to download, but the file downloads as error and I am not able to open the files. Moreover, I am not prompted or, even with a search, I do not see where I am supposed to enter the password I was sent with the link. Help.

I suggest that you try the troubleshooting steps below:


1. Make sure that the browser is up to date
2. Clear the browsing history or use a different browser
3. Temporary disable plugins/extensions, firewall, and VPN
4. Check if your firewall is configured for Box apps
5. Try to connect to a different network
6. Reach out to the owner of the link and request for a new shared link.
