The search feature you are asking about is currently a known limitation and not supported when using Box Drive on Windows devices:
- Windows search tools such as Cortana or File Explorer search do not return Box Drive results.
We recommend using Box Drive's search tool instead.

Yes I knew this feature and it works but, admit that Box.com don't allow, by technical limitation, a simple and fluent workflow.

When is explorer search function going to work?
Is this still a limitation (cannot search in Windows Explorer)? Also the link to Box Drive's search tool is broken.
I need to be able to search for files using Windows Explorer. Is this going to be addressed?
It wasn’t an issue with Box Sync, but seems to be an issue with Box Drive. Is the solution to revert to Box Sync?
