An employee left IBM July 1,2020 and before he left he did not transfer his BOX files over to anyone. Now almost a year later, my department needs access to the files he scanned. I went through this in 2016 and 2018 when other employees who were "owners" of the file left the company without transferring their ownership. I was always able to have the files retrieved to a NEW owner along with a co-owner. Every other member had access as "editor" or "view". We are in desperate need of trying to restore these files? I always thought thee were stored on the Cloud and could be downloaded from the Cloud. Is that still able to be done? If not, for my own peace of mind, when did this proess change? I have argued with some people over this process that it "can be done" vs cannNOT be done. Is there a special ID from the departed person that can be used? Please advise. Thanksl
