Is there a way to remove file extensions from uploaded files in Box? I do not want my document file names to say .pdf, .docx, etc.

    Welcome to the Box Community!

    There is no option to remove files extensions of your uploads to Box. The extensions are important to determine the type of file, for functions such as Box Search (the ability to search using the file type/ extension), to determine if the file can be previewed in Box and when opening the file with your desktop applications (Microsoft word, excel, etc.), and many more.
