Relay issue-cannot send notification to external email

We had setup a relay workflow in which the uploading of a file to a folder, would then send an email to users specified of said upload.  We are getting an issue where adding an external email address (outside the organization, but added as a collaborator) yields a message saying that the field is blank.

 

Box Support said that this is a known issue and no current fix for.  I wanted to keep them honest and ask the community.  thank you

Can you please remove the collaborator from the folder and then re-invite the user and see if that helps resolve this issue for your?

To remove a collaborator, you must be the owner of the folder. Check out this article on how to remove a collaborator: Removing Collaborators

After you've removed the collaborator, please send them an invitation to rejoin the folder following this article: Inviting Collaborators

Hi, we have confirmed this workaround works.  We removed and re-added the collaborators they showed up on the drop-down list.  Thanks for the Tip.
