I am receiving an error message saying "File size larger than maximum size limit...". I am happy to delete those files and not upload them. How can I do that?

Note: the maximum file size limit for uploads to Box varies depending on your account type:


  • Free personal: 250 MB

  • Starter: 2 GB

  • Business: 5 GB

  • Business Plus: 15 GB

  • Enterprise (and Digital Suites ): 50 GB

  • Enterprise Plus: 150 GB

With the error you're receivng, it looks like you're uploading a file beyond your upload size limit.
