Recent upgrade to 5.3 on IOS breaks box for EMM with intune

We are managing Box for EMM with intune MDM.
The last IOS APP version 5.3 breaks the ability to send docs to box from another app.
We are getting an error
"Please use the Box app to enroll in intune protections."
File share/send to box works fine with version 5.2

    Yes, I do have a case open and I haven't heard back since I opened it 5 days ago.
    That's why I was giving the forum a try.
    I'll keep waiting for sign of life from support.
