Can someone please help me resolve this REALLY ANNOYING pop up notification? I've tried contacting 'customer support' but they won't help as apparently I'm not paying them enough.


Every time I turn my computer on I get this notification. I deleted the original file on my HD and I also deleted the Box Folder. I don't want to 'ensure any changes are saved' - I deleted it. I just want the notifications to stop. Surely deleted means deleted.

To get rid of this notification, please log out and log in from Box Drive. 


  1. Navigate to the search menu by going to the system tray and clicking the Box icon.
    • Alternatively you can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Alt + Shift + B.


  2. Click the gear icon, and from the list that displays click Log Out.

Meanwhile, should the issue persist. You can go ahead and manually reset your Box Drive application

It has taken me a while to get any help with this - communicating with Box has proved frustrating.
