I have a box for training material which should be accessable for all in the company. Now I have created subfolder and have difficulties to have the same access rights (for all colleagues in the company) granted for the subfolders. Where is the right hook to set?

Hi Wolfgang,

Welcome to the Box Community!

Have checked out this article on understanding folder permissions: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043697254-Understanding-Folder-Permissions

Permissions in Box always follow our waterfall permission model. This means that when you add a user to a parent folder, that same level of access is automatically inherited by all of the sub folders that exist in the structure at the time you add the user, as well as to any new folders that get created there later on.

You might want to review this article on Collaborator Permission Levels if you are still in the process of deciding on proper permission to grant your colleagues.
