Where do I find the QR code for my Authenticator?
Hi there,
Welcome to the Box Community!
Authenticator apps use algorithms to generate one-time passwords, which are are unique random passwords generated on demand by authenticator applications. These one-time passwords expire after a defined period of time, often a number of seconds or minutes. Box 2FA supports authenticator apps that are compliant with the TOTP (time-based one-time password) algorithm, which is defined by the Internet Engineering Task Force specification, IETF-6238. Applications that follow this specification include Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, Duo, and LastPass, however, your administrator may require that you use a specific TOTP-compliant authenticator app.

Thanks!
I have an authenticator app. It has a "Scan QR code window". The app is not generating the QR code. Its a scanner for a QR code. BOX should be generating the QR code for the app to scan. That's what I understand. Am I wrong. This is WAY too complicated.
Can someone PLEASE help me. I need access to my clients Box link for business. This is SERIOUS!
I went to the Help page and it says this: Click on your account icon in the top-right. I clicked on that and all I get is this.
The main admin in our account is having the same issue. Box is not giving a QR code for the authenticator app to read and now she is locked out of her account. I have not found a single article in the Box support sight to help. With the main admin not being able to access her account, it brings a whole new slew of problems because no one can get to the admin panel. I put in a ticket. Let's see how long it takes Box to respond.
Hello. How do I generate a QR code for a PDF file I uploaded to Box.
Seriously, same problem a year later...
