I want to pull in box support articles into ServiceNow instance.

Example of external knowledge article - https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044196273-Managing-Collaborators

ServiecNow provides a feature to pull such articles using 'External Knowledge Source' functionality and basically attach these external articles as pdf to auto created KB article in ServiceNow.

I have done the configuration as per ServiceNow documentations –

https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/rome-servicenow-platform/page/product/knowledge-management/concept/knowledge-external-content-integration.html

https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/rome-servicenow-platform/page/product/knowledge-management/concept/sample-ext-cont-integration.html#sample-ext-cont-integration

This doc states that the external source should be WebDAV- compliant.

As per one box support article, Box no longer supports 'WebDAV ' - https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043696414-WebDAV-with-Box

When I run the job on the newly created source in ServiceNowm I get below error "Error - org.apache.jackrabbit.webdav.DavException: Method Not Allowed"

This feature that ServiceNow provide only utilizes WebDAV. Please let me know if there is way to get these articles in Servicenow

Hi,

Could someone please look into this query and let me know if there is any alternative to connecting to Box public articles from within ServiecNow. User should be able to search for Box articles from within ServiecNow instance and and get redirected to actual box article links or be able to fetch them in ServiecNow.

Thanks

Hi,

The Box Developer Relations team doesn't actually work with the community articles, so we would not be able to answer this question. I would reach out to the regular support forum or file a support ticket if you have a paid enterprise account.

Thanks,

Alex, Box Developer Advocate
