Moved the Box Drive folder to C:\Users\Public folder using the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Box\Box\CustomBoxLocation registry string on a Windows 10 machine.
Leaving the first user logged in, I switch users on Windows 10 on the same machine.
However, I cannot access the moved Box Drive folder in the C:\Users\Public folder when logged into the other Windows 10 user account. I get a Windows file permission error on even though all Windows users can access the public folders in C:\Users\Public.

Can you tell us more about this issue and what are you trying to accomplish by moving your Box Drive's location?

For critical files, I want to have keep 2 copies of the files and keep them synced. The way I am trying to sync the two file copies is to use two Box accounts on the same PC accessing a shared folder C:\Users\Public\BoxDrive on a Windows 10 PC. The two box accounts, e.g. Auser@email.com and Buser@email.com, are logged into two Windows accounts, e.g. WindowsAUser and WindowsBuser respectively, at the same time on the same PC. Both Box accounts are pointing to the C:\Users\Public\BoxDrive shared Windows folder.
However, I can access the Box drive folder from the WindowsAUser Windows account, but I cannot access the shared Box Drive folder from the WindowsBUser Windows account. The WindowsBUser Windows account gets a Windows file permission error. When the Auser@email.com Box drive sync process is shut down, then the WindowsBUser Windows account can access the C:\Users\Public\BoxDrive folder but there are no Box drive files in that folder from the Auser@email.com Box account.
Note: All Windows users can access all the public folders in C:\Users\Public. The problem comes when a Box Drive sync process is running.
