Previous project manager still listed as Owner and I've been added as Co-owner (should be current owner)

The previous project manager is still listed as the Owner of Box Account and I was added as the Co-owner by her (incoming Project Owner). I’m unable to change my status to Owner and delete the previous manager’s name. Please help.

      Hello,

      You’ll need the current Owner to transfer ownership to you manually—Co-owners can’t make themselves Owners

      Welcome to Box Community! We will guide you through changing the folder owner.

       

      Do you know if the folder owner belongs to your Enterprise? If so, you can reach out to your Box Admin to transfer the folder ownership through Admin Console. 

      However, for external collaborations you would be needing the help of the current owner to modify the ownership. For the instructions, you can visit this page.
