preview of documents are poor / looks bad when shared too

It's hard for me to take box.com serious for anything important.  When I open the file (like a preview of the full document), but before I open in an app, then the "preview" changes to a one character wide ruler line toward the end; in addition, the full documents doesn't appear.  So this is what people that I share with get unless and until they download and open in an app.  This example is the least complicated amount of formatting in the .doc source document that you could possibly have.  How can I take this serious for something important?  What do you advise?
