We have difficulties in previewing files with .cr3 extension that are Raw files from Canons cameras. This makes time very difficult, because we have to download all the files to the computer so we can only view the file of interest later. It would be nice to organize this for an upcoming Box update.

So I've noticed we do support .cr2 files (no compression) and we even support some advanced file formats such as HEIC.
.cr3 is in fact missing.
I've pinged the product team about this, but from your side may I recommend you do a couple of things:
- Open a support ticket.
- Go to Box Pulse and send some feedback directly to the product team.
This helps a lot when the product teams to have statistics on the most requested features.
I would also like the ability to view cr3 files.
Being able to preview Canon Raw CR3 files would be fantastic as I am a canon photographer and need to share files with my editors and other photographers. So having the built in previewing for CR3 files would be great. CR3 has been a Canon RAW format for I think a minimum of 6 years already (likely more), so I am surprised this format from the largest camera brand is not already supported.
Can we please get native CR3 preview support in BOX? Thank you :)
