Simple question, hopefully:
We're using a WYSIWYG web editor to host an internal website for our employees. It's well liked and used often, but a complaint we get a lot is that users have to access BOX and the files we have stored there. Everyone indicated that it would be ideal if we could integrate the search bar from BOX into our website so people could search directly from the page rather than having to open a new page, open BOX, etc.
I'm not very familiar with coding or APIs (I can modify GitHub code through trial and error, and I can write super basic VBA scripts for Excel, but that's the ceiling of my expertise with any of this), so I didn't know if such a thing was possible, and if it is, how hard it is to implement. I tried searching the forum and there's a lot around embedding logins, etc., but wasn't sure on the search portion or how to turn it on.
Found a BOX DEV search API and that brought me here. Don't expect anyone to solve this for me or anything crazy, but would love a gentle nudge in the right direction for a noob like me.
Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks!
