 I am currently encountering period of times when the PDF’s won’t load. When I attempt open a PDF the page just spins and spins but doesn’t load. I’ll try to download the file instead, but it says the download is going to take hours. I check my internet speed and it’s anywhere between 30-80Mps download speed. These periods of time last between 10-20 minutes which is a huge issue for me.

To make sure that every angle is checked, can you please try these initial troubleshooting tips:


  • Can you try to clear cache and cookies for your browser. Here is an article that walks through how to do this on the different browsers that Box supports.

  • Try loading this files in your Box using different browsers

  • Connect to a different network and see if it makes any difference.

I have installed box tools, but when I select to open a pdf in my Adobe DC as an option, the error message says the file has failed to download because I am not the owner of the file, and to contact the owner for permission.


The other option which is just to open with Adobe gets blocked straight away, telling me I don't have permission to complete that task??
