PDF - How to preview a PDF

When selecting a PDF doc getting an Screen saying:

For the best experience, open this PDF portfolio in Acrobat X or Adobe Reader X, or later. "Get Abobe Reader Now"

when the abobe application is already installed. I am unable to preview any PDF Docs without downloading.  Can anyone help?

    Welcome to the Box Community! I'm happy to help.

    Have you tried logging in to different browser to see if you can preview the items from there? 

    Do you happen to have Box Tools installed in your computer?

    Yes i have box tools installed and i have tried different browsers. it fairly specific but important to me. Im wondering if its an option Box have left out ?
