I received a password protected file. I also have the password from the sender. When I opened the file in Box it did not ask me for the password - no prompt - no dialogue box.  When I downloaded the file it did not ask me for the password either. But I cannot open the files that were downloaded. I have not been prompted to enter the password. Am I missing something? I have tried in both the Edge and Chrome browsers.

Thank you! We were able to resolve the problem. We found the problem to be with the sender's .zip software which for some reason was not providing the password prompt fo rthe .zip files.. Both the sender and I eventually switched .zip programs and we got it to work. Not a Box problem.
