Older video files are stripped of video and now audio only

This is disturbing as its for crucial content that was fine uploading. Doing some research there is mention that Box stopped supporting older codecs (or something like that). However I do not undersand why these files are audio only on all devices (Mac, iOS & Windows). What are my options to recover the video from these files? Thank you in advance.

    Welcome to Box Community, and we are here to discuss regardomg content preview for video files on freemium accounts. 

     

    After reviewing your Box account, it seems that all of your contents are owned.

    Note you may be able to successfully upload video files in your Box account. However, previewing video files is limited for Business accounts and above.
