I've enabled notifications on the account level, for all events. Also tried overriding the notification settings on the folder.
I assume/expect viewing a folder or playing a media file inside it, by someone on a web browser who's not logged in, should trigger a "previews" notification. Yet nothing gets emailed (not in spam either).
Multiple older posts mention notification problems, so maybe it's the same.
There's a support article, from a year ago but updated last month, saying notifications may not working due to an "issue in the legacy Box notification service": https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/4417769636371-Notifications-Not-Sent-Or-Multiple-Sent
I don't know if the article is specific to Enterprise accounts, and the distinction it makes between the "legacy" and "new" notification service is unclear. At any rate, I'm only on a basic free account.
Alternatively, is there a way to see notification not by email but on the site, from the bell icon? (Currently it just says "No Notifications").
