Not receiving confirmation email

A new user created a new box account and has not received the confirmation email to activate the account. The email is not in the junk folder. @box.com and all recommended addresses (Troubleshooting Issues with Email Notifications – Box Support)  has been added as trusted senders but the new user has not received the emails yet. Our company's Ironport does not have any logs shows that received emails from box to this user's email address either.
