I used to get a red circle (by the bell) saying how many files have been uploaded and shared with me and that doesn't happen anymore. Yes, I tried to resolve the issue in settings. This is critical to my job. I have to manually check to see how many documents need my attention.

Not getting notifications when I am tagged on a folder

To confirm, is this happening to folders that you own or folders you joined owned by someone else?
If this is happening on folders you joined, can you check the settings of those folder to make sure that proper notifications has been set or if its been disabled.
