Not able to upload files or folders

Hello.  I’d like to know why I cannot upload files or folders onto my box account when I apparently still have 7.1 GB of storage left.  I keep getting the message that I don’t have any space left and need to upgrade but on the right-hand corner of the screen it clearly says I have used 2.9 GB out of 10GB.

Welcome to Box Community, and we will help investigate with your upload error. 

 

If you are receiving a storage related error while uploading files. First thing you need to check:  Is the folder you’re uploading into is your own or collaborated folders. 

 

If it’s a collaborated folder, kindly reach out to the folder owner. Always remember that the folder storage is counted against the owner’s free space. 

However, if you’re the owner and keeps getting the same error despite your available space, please let us know.
