I uploaded files to my box account a while ago but I can't find them anymore.
However, I see that I use 1.4 GB of disk space while my account appears empty.
Are my files lost forever or do I have a chance to recover them?

We checked your account and it looks like you own 2 files in it, so the issue you encounter seems related to what is described in this article:
I've ran the script that will recount all of the files and how much storage is being used in your account, so you should now see the correct storage size available in your Box.
