I just installed Box Sync v4.0.8057 on a new Win10 Pro machine and synced it up successfully with an existing Box account.

All appears to be working except that I do not see blue check marks on any of the synced folder and files. I do, however, see an orange circle when I alter a folder/file, which disappears after the folder/file syncs up.

How do I turn on the blue check marks?

Hi Marc,

Welcome to the Box Community!

I suggest that you follow the steps found in this Box Product Support page about "Troubleshooting Box Sync".

Hope this helps.

Best,

I followed all of the steps on the troubleshooting page and the issue is not fixed.

As part of this, I uninstalled Box Sync, deleted the Box Sync folder, reinstalled Box Sync, and waited overnight for all files to sync again.

Still seeing precisely the same issue--no blue check marks but there are orange dots when a folder/file is not synced.

I have used Box Sync for about 5 years and never had any problems like this. Is there a way to obtain an older version of Box Sync that does not automatically upgrade to the newest version? I have several computers running Box Sync installed a few years ago and they are working fine.

The machine with the issue is a brand new Win10 Pro machine that I just started setting up a few days ago.
